EFREN REYES takes centre stage at the 2004 Taiwan World Pool Championship as the tournament reaches the last 32.

So far the watching audience of millions around the world has only been treated to Bata’s talents once, but he will face Euro Mosconi Cup captain Oliver Ortmann in the first TV game on Thursday.

Exciting Luc Salvas will face Johnny Archer after that match, and that’s followed by an all Scandinavian clash between Niclas Bergendorff and Mika Immonen.

Finally, rising Taiwanese star Che-Wei Fu will play Earl Strickland in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
