ei, just wanna thank all those who made Cookout 2004 a success, Council, UNISO, guests, and of course, UPians. why? ngano? bakit? porque? coz for every outsider ticket sold, P5.00 of the P25.00 outsider ticket goes to the Athlete's Fund. now you do the math for this one: last friday about 5,000 people or so graced Cookout 2004! how much money then goes to the athletes? rough estimate, anyone? another good news, sa katong APO gimik, that cool dude, sunod sa galaw, and campus fashionista thing, 50% sa funds na na-raise out of that activity goes to the Council, and the council promised us that the full share goes to the Athlete's Fund. as members of this org, you should be proud! we were instrumental in making sure that our athletes are not neglected! and don't you worry, the administration is totally hands-off regarding this matter. the Student Council has given UP Sports Club the authority in handling the fund but not for use of the organization, of course! kung baga, kita ang in-charge of keeping the money and making sure it is put into good use where our athletes are concerned. Congratulations natong tanan! Good work y'all!
